Terms of Service
Last updated October 26, 2026
These terms explain the rules for using Latin Explorer (“the site”), which is run by Unserpas Design, LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you're under 18, please read them with a parent or guardian.
What Latin Explorer is
A free, independent study aid for students learning first-year Latin. Its practice follows the order of common Latin courses, including Our Latin Heritage.
Latin Explorer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or run by Jesuit High School of New Orleans, any other school, or the publisher or authors of Our Latin Heritage. Practice quizzes here are our own and aren't school tests.
Accounts
- Sign in with your own school Microsoft account or your own email address.
- Don't share your account, and don't sign in as someone else.
- Some class materials are only for invited students. An invitation is personal; please don't pass on what's behind it.
- We can remove access if these terms are broken. Your progress is kept unless you ask us to delete it.
Using the site honestly
- Latin Explorer is for practice and learning. Follow your teacher's rules about homework and tests; when book exercises are assigned, the site gives hints, not answers to copy.
- Don't try to break, overload, or get around the site's access rules.
- Don't copy class materials from the site to share or publish elsewhere.
Our content
We work hard to get every form, ending and translation right, but mistakes can happen. If something looks wrong, tell us and we'll fix it. Always check against what your teacher and textbook say.
Textbook material shown to invited students belongs to its copyright holders and is shown only to help those students study. Our own explanations, sentences and code belong to Unserpas Design, LLC.
No guarantees
The site is free and provided “as is”. We can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or stop features. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses from using the site, including grades.
Privacy
How we handle your information is explained on the Privacy page.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. Questions? Email contact@latinexplorer.app.
